This visit
is primarily to take care of a single tooth that is hurting
or is broken. An x-ray is taken of the affected tooth and
treatment is given to that tooth. See Emergencies,

Instead
of taking care of each tooth as a problem occurs, it is better
for the patient to know what needs to be done to bring the
mouth into good condition. Therefore a Full Mouth X-ray and
Examination is recommended before any other treatment is advised.
